John is the heartbeat of the team, everything good that happens comes through him (it's me that's writing this, so I can say what I like). The one thing that puzzles the team about John is that he always seems to lose his voice at the start of each game and doesn't find it till after the final whistle. I am shouting for the ball you just don't hear me. Eh. John is thinking of retiring from the team as he thinks he is too old to continue. Some of the boys have had a word to make sure he carries out his threat as they are fed up carrying him every week. Aims for next season: demand the ball, it won't bite.
